Marine Academy Commandant Sajid Hussain’s service extended Government has extended the service of the Commandant of Bangladesh Marine Academy ‘Chartered Marine Engineer Dr. Sajid Hussain’ by two more years (Oct 2021 – Sep 2023) as per an order of the Ministry of Public Administration on 11 October 2021. He is serving as the Commandant since 2009. Prior to the current position, he had served the Academy during 1993-2009 (Sr. Engineer Instructor, Chief Engineer and Deputy Commandant) and Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC) during 1980-1993 from Cadet Engineer to Chief Engineer in ocean-going ships.
