"Bangladesh Marine Academy had celebrated its Inauguration Day on 3rd September 2019. Mr. Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP, Hon'ble State Minister, Ministry of Shipping had joined the ceremony as the Chief Guest. He had inaugurated the ceremony releasing pigeons and Academy festoon in the parade ground. He received the Guard of Honour and Salute by the Cadets. Later he had also inaugurated several development items of the Academy. It was his very first visit to this Academy after assuming the position of the Hon'ble State Minister of the Ministry of Shipping. The Academy had arranged several programs to celebrate the day that all the invited dignitaries along with the hon'ble State Minister enjoyed.
