Around our globe, the 1.6 million Seafarers are moving over 65,000 merchant ships carrying 62.7 trillion tone-mile cargo annually comprising food, fuel, medicine and everything to meet the need of 7.8 billion human on earth. Living lonely and working on floating and moving entity for months away from one’s family and friends is not an easy task. It needs high level of skills and competence in terms of academic, professional and mental strength.
Hence, BMA – being a home of maritime brilliance – follows a strategy for developing world-class Cadets for national and international ocean-going merchant ships. Enriched with Bachelor/Master of Maritime Science degree and professional Certificate of Competence, BMA Alumni are keeping remarkable roles in seafaring and into shore-based marine management and shipping trade as well.
